Area Sales Manager Contract Flooring Job Title: Area Sales Manager Contract Flooring Industry Sector: Flooring Contractors, Retail Showrooms, Builders Merchants, Distribution, Carpets, Vinyl Flooring and Wooden Flooring Area to be covered: Yorkshire Remuneration: £40,000 + £12,000 Bonus Benefits: Fully expensed hybrid car & full benefits The role of the Area Sales Manager Contract Flooring will involve: Field sales role selling our clients distributed range of carpets, vinyl flooring, engineered wooden flooring & accessories 80% of your time developing flooring contractors 20% developing retail showroom and builders merchants 50% account managing, 50% new business prospecting Working as one of two field sales professionals covering Yorkshire from new distribution warehouse, sales office and trade counter in the North Leeds area Responsible for initially 40 customer accounts, you will be required to visit our clients Leeds office once per week Inheriting approx. £600,000 worth of business, tasked with growing your ledger to £1m (£200,000 of business already assured from commitments from existing customers) Follow up on enquiries from manufacturers who have asked flooring contractors to price up our clients products and then buy them through retail/ distribution Typical end users include hospitals, local authorities, prisons, office block, new builds, police stations etc. Typical projects sizes £10,000 but can be up to £150,000+ Full product training will be provided The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Contract Flooring with: Contract flooring industry field sales background Proven field sales experience and territory management Must have sold to flooring contractors (open on products) Enthusiastic and high energy Need to earn/ responsibilities Comfortable with an aesthetically pleasing sell Professional and organised Excellent territory planning skills IT literate The Company: Est. approx. 40 years 300+ employees Circa £100m UK turnover If your experience matches the requirements above please do not hesitate to contact Mitchell Maguire on 01625 527207 or simply apply by forwarding us a copy ofyour CV.
