

Teaching Personnel
Role: Business Studies

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a school in York who are seeking a full-time teacher of Business Studies who is able to start with them from as soon as possible.
You will be working at a mainstream secondary school. The successful candidate will be passionate in making a difference for the children. This is why they came into teaching; this is why we want them to be part of our team. With this in mind, we are looking to recruit a colleague with both the commitment and relevant skills to embody our culture and help to raise standards.
The timetable is yet to be confirmed.
Requirements:
- Be a qualified Teacher of Business Studies (ideally with PGCE, GTP, B.Ed. Cert Ed, BA with QTS)
- Demonstrate recent experience as a Business Studies Teacher or Trainee Teacher
- Hold an honours degree or equivalent in B.Ed.
- Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high
- Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example
- Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies
Applicants are required to:
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application through us
- Able to provide two professional references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
