JOB DESCRIPTION
Due to our rapid and exciting growth we are currently recruiting for Complex Care support workers within the Hull region.
You will be passionate about and have experience with working with young adults and adults in a person-centred way who have brain injuries and other disabilities, and at times may display challenging behaviours
You will be supporting people to live in their own homes and/or their family homes to achieve and improve their quality of life by engaging them in their local community and empowering them to identify their goals, pursue their interest and hobbies.
WORKING HOURS
* Up to 12-hour day
* Up to 24 hours sleeping shift
* Waking 12-hour night
REQUIRED
* Full UK driving license preferred.
* Access to own vehicle
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
* Experience in a Care/Support role
* Trained in PEG feeds
* Medication Management
* Experience working with people with Brain Injuries and associated behaviours
* Experience in suctioning and cough assist
* Compassionate and empathetic
* The ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with vulnerable people
* Competent IT skills
* An interest in people and a commitment to helping others.
