P&O Ferries are looking for a Customer Operations clerk at our hull offices, we are a growing organisation and 2 new ships joining our fleet in 2023 there has never been a better time to join us.

You will be working as part of a busy team that will be delivering exemplary customer service alongside accepting the route bookings using our Freight Reservation System.

There will also be work around making sure that all Hazardous Cargo is checked out in accordance with relevant guidelines and informing customers if there are any delays with crossings. You will also be calling customers on a daily basis confirming bookings and taking any additional requirements as well.

What skills are we looking for?

– Previous customer services experience ideally within a trade environment

– Accurate and quick keyboard skills

– Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite

– Good telephone manner

– The ability to work shifts across the week

– It would be beneficial if you can speak a second European language.
