More about your role

We are looking for a Director of Asset Strategy & Investment, you will strategically lead on how we respond to the investment challenges faced by Housing Associations. You will determine how we deliver the greatest impact with the resources we have available, so we deliver safe decent homes and neighbourhoods, and excellent customer experience – contributing to our goal of changing our customers lives and creating healthy communities for our people to thrive in.

You will be responsible for prioritising and planning investment to improve the quality and performance of our social and affordable rented homes, whilst overseeing the project management and delivery of our capital investment programme.

This is an exciting time to join the team as we are moving through a period of transformation. You will play a pivotal role in our transformation, providing direction to system and data changes as well as delivering process and policy improvements.

You will be a ‘get things done' person who can engage and influence colleagues at all levels. You will have prior experience in a similar level role and will be able to translate data and insight into clear plans

Strong Social Housing knowledge is essential, as is an awareness of current sector issues, challenges, and legislation. You will be a champion of new technologies and data,  and will understand how we can use these to better understand our places, homes and communities.

You will be a natural and engaging people leader, with strong project, programme, contract, safety, cost and change management skills as well as extensive experience of successfully planning and implementing large scale planned works programmes. You will have in depth knowledge in social housing and have the ability to identify new opportunities to contribute to our growth. Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations, Health and Safety and risk management matters are essential for this role.
