Summary
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, experienced and highly motivated family support worker to support families in the first 1001 days of family life. You will be working in partnership with children and their families to provide good quality, holistic family support and outreach work as part of a Multi- professional team delivering Family hubs services across a locality.
If you feel passionate about children’s services then this is your opportunity to become part of a professional, dedicated and committed team by raising awareness in the local community about the range of services on offer and to ensure those who are most disadvantaged and vulnerable are supported and able to access the services they need and contribute to making a difference to very young children’s lives.
Experience of working with children, young people, their families and carers and of of assessing needs and providing emotional and practical support to children, young people, their families and carers is essential.
You must have a relevant Level 3 or equivalent qualification or experience in an appropriate field related to Social Care, Education, Health, Early Years, Youth or Community Work and a commitment to further develop knowledge and skills relevant to the post through training and development opportunities.
