About Us
Kingston Vets have invested heavily in staff training and their facilities to ensure they are offering the highest standards of care. The Park Street hospital has been recently extended to create additional theatre space, enabling advanced techniques to be offered, such as key hole surgeries and fracture repairs.
Our branch surgeries are all sited strategically from the Park Street Hospital where we can provide a high level of hospitalisation facilities. Each branch has an experienced branch head nurse and motivated team of Veterinary Surgeons, Nurses and Receptionists.
The group have a fantastic and hardworking team of 19 committed Veterinary Surgeons, 22 dedicated RVN’s and a friendly, enthusiastic, support team. We have certificate holders within the team in Surgery, Emergency and Critical Care and Medicine.
About the Role
Your normal hours of work are 40 hours per week, over 4 days a week with 1 in 3 Saturdays, allowing a great work life balance.
Once graduates are ready to consult alone, they will have their own diary column, that has bespoke appointment durations that suites the graduate’s capability. Put things in place which aligns with the individuals capability reduces stress and promotes health mental wellbeing.
We have a director meeting every week, where all feedback is discussed and necessary changes to accommodate the graduate are put into place. Directors communicate regularly with the mentor, allowing successful clinical and a growth in confidence for the graduate.
All branches have an RVN as a branch head, who are all very supportive of graduates, feeding information back to the directors and mentor on a regular basis, allowing any necessary changes to graduates’ role to be put in place.

We are looking for a new Graduate Veterinary Surgeon, eligible to register with the RCVS.
