Grafton Recruitment are currently seeking a permanent HR Manager to join a market leading and expanding company within the engineering/construction industry. My client is looking for an experienced HR professional who can have positive, influential contribution across their business. As this is a fast-paced industry you must be able to react, adapt and resolve to issues that may arise. You would have autonomy and trust to manage your day to day.
Your duties as the HR Manager:
Efficiently and tactfully deal with staff situations- health, sickness, complaints, conflict management etc
Working with managers to effectively manage employees in accordance with procedures ensuring any absence, disciplinaries, grievances and sickness are dealt with in a professional and timely manner
Working with the business leaders to ensure employee relations are optimised and facilitate effective and efficient business operations
Ensuring all company policies and procedures are up to date and in line with current employment law instigating new procedures as required
Ensuring line managers are up to date with policies and given guidance on any changes in Policy
Identify training needs and improvement opportunities
The ideal HR Manager will need to:
Be dependable and influential for all staff
Have a proactive way of working
Experience of a similar role with in HR is essential
