Role – Medical Device Advisory Service Engineer
Salary – Competitive
Location – Remote
Hours – 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 8:30-17:00)
Russell-Taylor Group have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Device Advisory Service Engineer to join their clients expanding team. This role is a great opportunity for someone who has a wealth of experience in testing and is looking to get out of the lab and be involved in a more desk based role.
The role:
Building relationships with customers by offering on-going support services.
Regular communication with customers and provide expert technical opinions and support.
Reviewing test reports and records.
Generation and revision of test procedures.
Applying of technical knowledge of the standards during planning of tests.
Work closely with other members of the engineering team to meet business objectives.
The person:
Technical experience in testing and certification of electronic medical devices.
Background of working to IEC 60601-1
Knowledge of collateral standards within an ISO 17025 accredited lab environment.
Degree qualified in the medical engineering field or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills are a must- must be comfortable speaking to customers/clients
Ability to work independently
Ability to project manage
Travel to UK site once a fortnight minimum
