Operations Coordinator

Office based role

Location: Hull

Salary: up to £26k depending on experience

Hours: Mon-Fri

Grafton Recruitment are delighted to be working with an international, leading Transport & Technical business in the Hull area, who are looking for an Operations Coordinator. Grafton are looking for the perfect candidate who is looking to progress their career within the Transport business.

Roles & Duties for the Operations Coordinator:

Transport Planning

Liaising with clients & suppliers

Updating supplier database

Liaising with Authorities & Police on the proposed route

Speaking to suppliers to obtain documentation

Load, unload and movement of mobile machinery

Highlighting site PPE and safety requirements

Booking of cargo and subcontractors on and off site

Raising and sending proof of delivery documents and invoice's

Order processing

You will need:

The ability to prioritise workloads/urgent enquiries

Punctual, hardworking, team player

Microsoft Office experience

Excellent telephone manner

Attention to detail

GCSE English and Maths grade C or above

Previous experience in a Transport & Logistics environment is desirable, however not essential
