Working from our state-of-the-art offices in Hull, you will be required to undertake a variety of duties. The role and general day to day duties will usually include the following: Chasing and calculating of timesheets from employees Inputting of weekly timesheets onto bespoke payroll and invoicing system. Managing new starters / leavers Liaising with external payroll providers Raising Sales Invoices Answering employee/customer queries about timesheets, payslips, or invoices Entering Purchases & Sales on to Xero accounting system Bank Reconciliations Posting Journals Credit Control duties Assisting with the preparation of Management Reports Working and reporting to the Payroll & Finance Manager along with the Groups Finance Director General administration dutiesEssential Skills A high level of accuracy and attention to detail Previous experience preferred working within payroll and accounts Good organisational and time management skills Computer Literate with Microsoft Office and Excel Previous experience using Xero preferred but no essential Be able to effectively work as part of a team Able to work on own initiative. Be flexible and have a positive working attitude. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Working Hours Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00
