As the Project & Team Lead for Tick9 Ltd your role is to deliver the appropriate level of project work, planning, control, support (staff and project), customer liaison and technical input to enable projects to be completed to the satisfaction (on time and within budget) of both customer and Tick9 requirements.As a Senior Manager within the team you will be expected to provide information and contribute at the required level to develop and guide the Company business.Accountabilities* Meeting targets in Projects:* a) Customer service and client reference ability* b) Income and cost control* Implementing change effectively* Team management, motivation, planning and drive.* Team Contribution to business targets.Key responsibilities will include:* Process development and delivery: Build & Deploy and continuously improve an agile project management process into Tick9. Delivering the appropriate project technical competence and work to enable the completion of the projects on time, to budget and to the satisfaction of the customer and ourselves.* Where appropriate provide direction and support with day to day activity so the team and you deliver projects in line with customer and business expectations.* Achieving Excellence: Deliver your personal objectives and targets contributing to the success of your wider team and the business.* Project management: Ensuring all projects have very clear specifications/ technical requirements as well as assignment of ownership of key phases/ activities and project management contact strategies during the full duration of a project. Have in-depth detail and understanding at all times on working progress for you and your team in terms of live projects, possible orders and revenue triggers.* Resource planning: A key activity is to ensure all project objectives are delivered on time and in a profitable manner. As part of this process you are expected to identify when projects are beginning to move away from timelines and key milestones, mitigating challenges and bringing them back into line.* Commercial awareness: Contribute positively to the development of the Company’s Orbit Model and 3 year strategy. Focusing all project management activities to ensure we deliver on those objectives.* Customer driven: Handling client interactions to always enhance your and the Company’s brand. Supporting the MD and Commercial Team in acquiring Case Studies and testimonials.* Customer issues: Works with all other internal and external resources to effectively handle issues and ensure support plans are in place to maintain long term supplier and customer relationships.* Communication: Regularly provide comprehensive project updates that are easily understood and provide value added information for all stakeholders.* Continuous improvement: Support Steve in developing a culture of continuous improvement, providing feedback at every opportunity on how to improve the way we secure, run and deliver on projects. Working towards deploying new processes and agile project best practices within the Company.* Customer retention: Through your interactions with customers, you must look to develop the range of products and services we provide to them to ensure they remain customers for as long as possible.* Business Development: To assist with all commercial activities of the company including market development, sales enquiries, preparation of quotations, liaison with customers, administration and customer service.* Internal systems: Develop and oversee the policies and procedures for project management and reporting requirements that meet current and future business requirements as well as relevant regulations affecting the organisation. This includes being responsible for maintaining the processes for GDPR, Cyber Security, ISO.* Employee development: Supervise, train and performance manage all reports within the Company keeping them informed at all times on company strategy, policies and any changes in legislation. This will include undertaking monthly one to one meetings with all reportees to review their performance and agree any relevant personal development plans.* People Management: Ensure we have a robust set of Job descriptions that are accurate and fit for purpose, working with individuals Skills Matrix to help develop an appropriate Personal development Plan. The PDP should ensure that they are fully competent to fulfil their role and meet or exceed all their objectives.* Continuous Professional Development: Maintain professional and appropriate technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.* Personal appraisals: Ensuring all your appraisal paperwork is completed in accordance with guidelines and that you maintain personal responsibility for your own personal development, including any Continuous Professional Development your role demands.The team work remotely most days, however we also have weekly working days together if we want to or need to.
