Quantity Surveyor – Buildspace Group Limited – Hull

Our client is a forward thinking modular build main contractor, they specialise in the delivery of education, commercial and residential project work in record quality and time! They are currently working on a number of a number of mixed use project and need an experienced QS to join them to deliver projects across the U.K.

Your responsibilities will include:

– Procurement of subcontractors and materials
– Liaising with client cost manager in order to agree pricing
– Working with the factory team in order to ensure timely project delivery
– When based on site overseeing payments
– Valuations & Variations
– Final accounts
– Chairing site meetings

Experience required:

– Quantity Surveying experience for main contractor
– To have worked on new build project work (ideally schools, not essential though)
– Ideally some knowledge of the modular sector
– Technical qualification in construction (HNC / BSc)
