You’ll succeed because…
You take pride in understanding process and aim to become an expert in your field; you will be required to understand the reference standard program development process, qualify analytical reference standards using a variety of analytical equipment (HPLC, GC, FTIR etc.), caracterise new compounds intended for us as standards for NPD/EPD and to develop and validate methods required for standard quantification.
You put quality at the forefront of your role; you have an awareness of, and ensure your day-to-day tasks are carried out in compliance with cGMP and pharmacopoeia guidelines. You will also be required to participate in periodic quality audits. Any laboratory work must be executed, and equipment maintained, according to required health and safety standards as defined in the companies SOP.
You are a strong communicator; you will work cross-functionally with other areas of R&D, Regulatory, Quality Control labs and external partners to provide qualified referencing standards and liaise with recipients to resolve queries. You are also required to document all work in laboratory workbooks as per GMP, and to Author Certificates of Analysis.
You are degree qualified in an Analytical Chemistry (or related discipline), and have an awareness of HPLC, GC, FTIR, NMR, LC-MS. Experience within a pharmaceutical FMCG environment is preferred but non-essential, we welcome applications from recent graduates who have had plenty of exposure to working in a laboratory environment as part of your degree.
