Registered Care Home Manager
Based in Cottingham
Salary: £28-32k dependant on experience
Monday to Friday, 40hrs per week
Prestige Recruitment Specialists are working in partnership with a local care company in the search for a new team member for one of their care homes in the local area. We are looking for an experienced Registered Care Home Manager for one of their care homes which provides accommodation and support for vulnerable older adults.
You will lead the team in providing support and guidance to your residents. You will be innovative and creative in your approach to your position and you will promote a culture of continuous improvement. You will ensure that regulatory standards, quality assurance and ‘person-centred’ care practices and documentation are comprehensively maintained.
You will also create and develop strong internal and external professional relationships with everyone you are in contact with and play an important role in strengthening the company as a trusted healthcare provider.
You will have thorough understanding of the relevant regulatory policies and will be used to working within a culture of strong communications and reflective practises.
You will promote the rights of each resident and implement your existing experience and skill set to support residents who may engage in behaviours that challenge. You will be responsible for leading, managing and supporting your staff and will observe and assess standards throughout and co-ordinate regular supervisions and meetings.
You will have:
- Previous experience of working in a registered care home in a managerial position, and experience in a mental health setting is preferable.
- A positive and proactive approach to your position.
- A caring and approachable attitude.
- Dynamic in your approach to your role.
- All the relevant qualifications as well as an accompaniment to your experience in this role.
