Overview
Rullion are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager on behalf our client, a leading provider of services in the process, energy and high complexity industrial sectors, aligning their customers’ drivers and delivering change through energy transition.

Major duties

Manage of engineering design and EPC(m) projects of various sizes; this can include full-time project management of larger / complex projects to portfolio management of smaller projects.

Overall delivery on time in full for responsible projects ensuring the project is delivered to the requirements stipulated within the contract.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting of project status and cost reports.

Assist in the development of the project schedules with focus on delivery.

Accountable for the project change processes ensure all scope change is identified, recorded, communicated, and approved prior to work commencing.

Lead and participate in project design reviews including risk workshops. Owning the risk process.

Lead teams in designated multi-discipline projects.

Contribute to the ongoing improvement of engineering procedures / practises, instructions, standards, guidance documents.

Ensure compliance with codes and regulatory requirements.

Contribute to Engineering auditing programme, as required.

Client relationship management and driving increased customer satisfaction.

Support business winning, acting as Proposal Manager

Requirements:

Essential:

Degree or equivalent in engineering discipline.

Experience of Project Management delivery within the chemicals, petrochemical, Oil & Gas, renewables and power generation sectors.

Proven experience of the full project lifecycle through to EPC whilst working within an engineering consultancy environment. TIC value up to £20m CAPEX.

Solid understanding of commercial management, including technical and contract change.

Full understanding of the procurement cycle (Tagged Items, Bulks and Contracts).

Significant experience of supporting pre-qualifications, proposal generation and cost estimating of engineering projects, both greenfield & brownfield.

Experience of contract management within a project environment.

Desirable:

Chartered Engineer

Experience of delivering EPC projects in the range of £20m – £50m.

Delivering Term Service/Alliance Frameworks.
