Job Profile SEO Account Manager, (Hybrid Working) £28k – £32k + Bonus + Benefits BMC are seeking ?dynamic and driven SEO Content Marketing Managers who will lead on the strategy of SEO content campaigns for some of the UK’s biggest brands. What will you be doing? As an SEO Content Marketing Manager, you will be leading the clients’ content marketing activity, developing and executing our strategy in line with client’s objectives. You’ll be tracking and reporting on performance according to relevant targets and KPIs along with investigating and troubleshooting where necessary. You’ll be the point of contact and be in regular communication with clients, cultivating a positive and collaborative working relationship. On a day-to-day basis you will: * Contributing to internal marketing and supporting with shaping the strategy for SEO * Implementing content marketing activities to meet our client’s performance goals * Staying up to date with industry trends and SEO content best practice, identifying strategies that are applicable to our clients and leading the implementation of these * An understanding and appreciation of SEO tech and being able to support where necessary * Responsible for performance, analysis of performance and understanding the ‘why’ * Analysing issues/opportunities, whilst providing and implementing recommendations * Assisting the Senior Client Manager in developing relationships & maintaining strong communication with clients * Leading regular client calls to discuss performance and actions Job Requirements What are we looking for? With strong communication skills and a minimum of 2+ years’ experience managing content marketing activity in either a client or agency environment, you will be required to manage and prioritise your own workload, with keen attention to detail and strong focus on objectives. You’ll be self-motivated, willing to learn and improve with the ability to adapt to situations and work with teams effectively. Key skills and knowledge include: * A track record of analysing performance issues and opportunities, including implementation of recommendations * Advanced working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint * Tracking and reporting experience with analytics packages such as GA, Coremetrics or Adobe * Confidence in using SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, ahrefs, Site Bulb, Linkdex * Building relationships and networking internally and externally * Auditing our clients’ and/or competitors’ websites to determine areas of focus for optimisation or content creation * Producing, editing, and publishing content on our client’s websites. This includes ecommerce content, blog articles/editorial content or campaigns * Contacting and managing relationships with online influencers and national press (when required), to outreach a campaign What can we offer you?
