SEO Account Manager

Our awarding-winning client management team is looking to hire a number of dynamic and driven SEO Account Managers who will manage client relationships and support thedelivery of SEO for some of the UK’s biggest brands.
What will you be doing?
As an SEO Account Manager at Summit, you will be responsible for managing a team of specialists to deliver content marketing activity and technical SEO recommendations to your clients, as well as supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.Supported by our wider strategy and technical teams, you will act as a strategic consultant to help clients’ grow their organic visibility.You will be expected to manage communications across deliverables and propose solutions.
On a day-to-day basis you will:
Devise and execute a clients’ SEO strategy using data to align with the clients’ goals, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time.
Manage the teams who are delivering the work across clients’, providing supportwhere needed, and work with the strategy teams to identify and implement recommended solutions.
Assist the Account Director in developing relationships and maintaining strong communication with clients.
Support and manage up to two channel executives, assisting in training and development of fellow Summiteers as required.
Delivery of accurate and effective performance reports to clients demonstrating the value and progress of campaigns.
Attend and lead regular client calls to discuss performance and actions and build confident client relationships.
Collaboration with the wider strategy teams to keep up to date within theSEO landscape and ensure the strategic recommendations to clients are relevant to the changes within the industry.
Summiteers are asked to attend our office in the C4DI complex in Hull, Fruit Market 2 days per week, the rest of the week can be done from home. For the right candidate, we may also consider greater flexibility around office time.
What are we looking for?
Drive, determination and a self-disciplined approach are vital to be effective in this role. You will enjoy and be able to easily adapt to different personalities, being a proactive team player who is motivated and highly organised, enabling you to manage a diverse and busy workload.
Key skills and knowledge include:
Experience working in an agency environment is preferable but not essential.
Experience in successfully executing campaigns across SEO content and implementing technical SEO recommendationsis preferable, however if you have experience in one, we can help you to develop the skills in other areas.
Experience using a suite of core SEOand analysis tools such as (or similar to): SearchMetrics, SEM Rush, Linkdex, ahrefs &Google Analytics.
Effective communication skills with internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
Excellent attention to detail: careful and thorough, gathering complete information.
Interest in and knowledge of up-to-date SEO best practises.
A track record of analysing performance issues and opportunities.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Past experience of managing junior team members is preferable, but not essential.
