Delivering support with a difference. That’s when it hits home.
We have an amazing job opportunity for you to join our new Complex Care service in Hull as our Support Worker working Waking Nights. We help our brilliant customers to live fulfilling lives in their own homes within the local community.
Our mission here at Home Group is to build homes, independence, and aspirations. We provide health, social care, and housing support that makes a real difference to those that need it. Home Group is a special place to work, and our brilliant colleagues are hardworking and dedicated to helping our customers meet their aspirations.
You’ll be part of a team of Positive Behaviour Support Workers (PBS) working with individual customers with complex needs requiring people who are compassionate, warm, supportive, and willing to learn. Our wonderful customers require a PBS approach when delivering care and support to meet their needs.
We are looking for people with the right values who want to learn how to implement this approach. Any experience in working in the field of PBS is a bonus.
Our customers are living their happiest life through regular interaction with their family and friends, and the wider community. You’ll be instrumental in delivering with enthusiasm a rich programme of activities, important to and for our customers, aimed at reducing social isolation and improving their quality of life, health, and wellbeing.

You’ll receive training, coaching, supervision and in situ support to help implement the best possible care. You’ll also be willing to provide personal care when required, so some experience in physical assistance to help wash (shower or bath), dress and with oral care is also highly desirable.
You’ll ideally hold Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent or be willing to study for this, we’ll support you! It would also be amazing if you have worked in this type of environment before, however, it’s your “can do” positive attitude and enthusiasm that are most important to us.
When you join as a Support Worker, you’ll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for that to be done if you don’t have a transferrable one.
We’re offering you
• 25 days holiday rising a day each year to 30 days (You can even buy extra)
