As a Technical Development Manager you will lead the process development of new products to be manufactured in the Healthcare manufacturing site, and other nominated healthcare contract manufacturers. You will be responsible for working with other business functions (Category R&D, Global Regulatory, Category and Country commercial teams) to ensure seamless start-up and launch of new products. In this role you'll:
* Be responsible for process development and improvement for Reckitt’s healthcare power-brands in the areas of cost, quality and customer service at both internal manufacturing sites and contract manufacturers.
* Operate the Technology Transfer Process and Innovation Process to ensure that robust, reproducible and efficient manufacturing processes are transferred into production from R&D, contract manufacturers or other Reckitt sites.
* Have direct management of the Technical Development team (approximately 10 graduate level staff).
* Cover a range of product classifications (Licenced, medical device and cosmetic) and manufacturing technologies.
* Provide troubleshooting support to manufacturing units (as required) for processing issues and to review the robustness and capability of a wide range of existing pharmaceutical products.

* Strong Knowledge of UK, EU and FDA standards and legislation.
* A degree in Science or Engineering.
