We are currently representing a role on behalf of our client based in the Yorkshire and Humberside region. The job role is working for a rapidly growing wealth management firm, supporting wealth managers and personal investors with experience in the financial sector for nearly six decades. Our client is looking to hire a candidate to be part of the local Wealth Management firm, based in East Yorkshire. The candidate will have the chance to gain recognised qualifications in Investment Management, as they will pay for study materials and exams, with the aim of becoming a fully qualified professional. When fully qualified the earning potential of this role would be significantly higher than the position applied for. The role long term will involve managing the branches Investment Proposition, which covers company analysis and portfolio management. Main Duties: Working alongside the Branch Principle providing administration support, learning how the industry and local office operates. Study time will be available within office hours, but the candidate will also study in their own time to ensure they pass all exams in the desired time frame. The client would expect it to take approximately 2 years for the trainee to be fully qualified and be in a position where they can then start practicing as an investment manager. Person Specification: High level of self-motivation and ambition to succeed. An honours degree with a background in economics, business, or finance. Mental endurance and strong levels of determination. The ability to learn and retain large amounts of new information. You will need to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues at all levels, existing clients and potential new customers and have a pleasant and professional manner
